Hi, I live in Wasilla Alaska and ride my bike year around. The KTM 300's are very popular here and are impressive. I ride a yz426 with a pipe. We make 70 mile rides that have lots of deep water crossings and the two strokes are easy to get going after a splash down but there is nothing like the raw power of my 426. I'm a power junky but not really into the 525 I've been looking at the 450 xc but the mags say its about 8 to 10 horse short of the yz and the crf. I really like the crf and how the oil for the engine and trany are separate.I hear the the 426 has more bottom end than the new bikes, is this true and will miss the raw grunt of my 426? Dose any one have a 450xc or a crf 450 or yz 450 that has some comments?
