New Computer!!!

just last night we got a brand new computer. my dad built it for us. it has all the latest graphics, sounds, and video cards, windows vista and the dvd/cd burner w/ light scribe.

it is super fast i spent from like 11:00 when we got it all set up to 2:00 playing doom 3 last night. yea its fun

im still getting used to windows vista though. i kinda like it so far

i know it has 300 and something megabytes of memory and thats about it. but i think i heard him say like 6000mhz or something. is that possible?

You mean gigabytes ;)

If it was 300 megabytes you could fit about 50 songs on your whole computer's memory haha

I got me a mac in november. I love it. Some things are a lot better than a PC and somethings are a lot worse than a PC.

Uhhhh... I think you are talking about the hard drive. The amount of memory has no influence of how many songs you can hold.

depends on how you refer to memory

if you mean RAM then it doesnt but the hard drive is memory as in it remembers ur stuff so you dont have to :D

well ram is for running apps and hard drive is for storing them :)

:rotfl: anyway yea it has 300 and something GIGAbytes of memory on the hard drive. my dad is getting a clear case and lime green neon tubes for the case today. its gonna look sweet

Thats cool. Vista is OK. Its alot slower than XP, and it requires Dirext X10 for it to run up to par (at which my video card cant run Dirext X 10.) Also printers, and programs dont run well/or not even at all on it. Besides that its cool, just slower than XP.

And you probebley mean 300GB hard drive, with a 3.00Ghz Processor (3000Mhz).

My dads is 2.6Ghz processor, 120 + 80Gb Hard drives (one with XP, one with vista), 1Gb of RAM, and a 256MB Dirext 9 Video card... It gets the job done...
