well i have been riding since i was a little kid (observed trials) and now im 23 out of the military and want to start motorcross. i know im kinda old to start but i already know all the basics and well i think ill catch on quick ... just one problem new to the northern VA area and trying to find places to ride

I was 39 when I started riding dirtbikes..

I had rode street bikes before, but never dirt.

You're never too old to start.

Northern Virginia ... Mmmm ...

Not much help there, but you might check out the Damn Yankee Dirt Riders forum for some folks in your area.

They may know some.

No.Va is not a prime riding area. You are looking at 2 hours to ride.
2 hours west you have Tomahawk MX off I 81 in WV near Hedgesville
Tomahawk MX
2 hours east you have Delmarva Motorsports Park formerly known as The Landing in Easton Md
Delmarva Motorsports Park
South you will need to head 3 or more hours so I cant provide much help there.
We usually hit the 2 list above. Mainly Tomahawk

Or action town if he wants to go more southwest. Thats a pretty far drive from even here in richmond.
