Hey guys, I'm new here. I just registered and wanted to say hello to everyone. I am from New Jersey and I bought myself a new toy after years of debating if I should or not. The day before SuperBowl Sunday, I bought myself a brand new leftover 2003 Yamaha YZ250! :thumb: I love this bike! This isnt my first. I have been into bikes and quads since I was very young. I started out with a brand new 1988 Yamaha Blaster 200 quad, then onto a brand new 1991 Kawasaki KX80. Next was a brand new 2003 Suzuki QuadRacer 250. Eventually that was sold too and I havent had anything all these years. I couldnt take it anymore not having a bike, so I had to get something. I knew I either wanted a YZ or CR. I have been checking out both for the last few months and I went with the YZ. I just think the YZ looks a little nicer, more stickers and more plastic. :laugh: Stupid reasons I guess, but its all in what you like I guess. Anyway, I am very glad to have found this place and I will be posting much more often! Mike :) :)

Welcome and you made a good decision by going with the YZ over the CR! Can't stand the CR engine but thats just my personal opinion ;)

Well so far, all I have done is ridden it up and down my street because everything was still snow covered when I bought the bike. Everything is melting now though. I need to buy a set of ramps so I can put it in my truck and take it places. I'm thinking of getting ATV ramps because they are real wide instead of 2 single thin ramps. I think I would feel safer loading and unloading the bike with the wide ramp. I found some very nice sets on discountramp.com. The price doesnt seem unreasonable either. Once again, great site, glad to have found it. Mike :thumb:
