Hi there people as the tiltle says new member .What it does not say, is ( never been on a bike ) yap thats me and im 50 years old anyway i got my son a bike on saturday a new 2006 kawasaki x 1oo he is 17 years old the thing is it takes about 30 to 40 kicks to start when it is cold the sale people are gone for the weekend but i whould kind off like to no now if that is normal with are without the choke it is hard starting and no book are papers that tell you anything came with it any help out there whould sure be nice thanks from: (gdt123)

First off.... Welcome to DRN and dirt bikes :cool:
Cold 2 stokes do like a little choke, but 2-5 kicks is more in line. Do you have the premix at or about 32-1 (not going to get into a premix thread but 32-40 to 1 is pretty normal) ? Does it run OK after started?
