The Anadarko track and trail is awesome. Sooner Cycle park is a pretty hairy track but a great trail. Don't know anything about Cogar other that it is a long trip.

It sounds good with teh majority of the races bring within a couple hours from home. Winter series might help get me or atleast motivate me to get in shape for the enduro series next year.

Cogar is in the OCCRA series and Smitty has probably been there several times. I've never been to that race.

A friend of mine owns Cogar, so I've probably got a hundred laps in there. It's a 6+ Mile course lots of elevation change, lots of sand, and nice and tight in spots. It's a serious kick in the gut from May through September, but once it cools off and gets rainy the place is perfect. It's my favorite place to go when everywhere else is rained out.

This winter series should be fun! The guys running it are all experienced at OCCRA and Moto stuff and are dedicated to putting on safe and fun races.

Justin, these are going to be just like OCCRA races when it comes to the moto aspect. Ride the MX track then take off into the woods for 5-8 miles then back through the MX for 2 hours.

If I could make Anadarko I would ride the 450. That track/trail is fast. I'll be in Alma, AR for an awards banquet on the 8th.

Any of these within 5 or so hours from Dallas? We've got our own winter series down here, headed up by our very own Will Pattison. Maybe some of yall shoudl come join us sometime. I know Smitty came down for Bonita last year, but that track sucks, so you can't really sount that. It's a hare scramble format, 1 hr + a lap for amateurs and 1.5 hr + a lap for intermediates and experts. Pretty good stuff. There's a race in Muenster on like the 9/10th I guess, whatever weekend if after this one. Here's a link to the Official TORO Page . Also, I'm an amateur down here, so would I be sandbagging if I rode novice (we dont' have novice)?

I wouldn't think so. You'll probably be in a class of sandbaggers anyway.
