New Piston, No Rebore?

I have a 1988 RM 250 that I was thinking about putting a new piston and rings in. The Wiseco catalog says that cylinder sleeving or replating is required for the piston that they offer for oversizes. Now, I'm sure this bike has been bored at least once, but if I just want to throw the same diameter piston in as what it has now, I should be fine without relining/plating the cyclinder, right?
