New to the Forum, I own a DS80

I own a 19?? suzuki ds80, I bought it like 4 yrs ago and havent started it in maybe ummm....3 yrs. I went outside today after work and ripped her apart, I dismantelled everything... I never really knew how the bike worked but I know someone here has to know some things about it.

first thing...
-what is the oil tank for thats on the bike (was attached under the bike seat) and what kind of oil goes in it?

I'll prob. get some pics of the project 2morrow or saturday, maybe even sunday.

Question about Suzuki DS80

hey guys, thanx for looking, I have a suzuki DS80, its around the year of 199? and it has a tank made for oil underneath the seat, what kind of oil goes in there? and is it a 4 stroke or a 2stroke? I used to run it like 4 yrs ago w/mixed oil but havfe not used the sucker in years. Right now I am restoring the bike to bring it back to its original state, I'll get pics up in this post is all goes well.

it's a 2 stoke with oil injection

There are many oils that specify on the bottle that they are suitable for oil injection (like jet ski oils, for example). I think you would be just fine using whatever oil you normally premix.
