New Top End?

Can anyone tell me how often you need to do a top end?

I'd say as often as you find that you are not making popwer, and/or the bike not starting.

Depends upon how you ride, the conditions in which you ride and your maintenance habits. If you ride like a Nancy in very clean conditions your top will last in excess of 100 hours. If you ride like RC on a stolen CR in dust and never bother to clean your airfilter your top will last about 10 hours.

Most of us are in between and get 50 to 100 hours out of the top end. If you find that you do a lot of slow speed trails count on closer to 100 hours. If your riding is high-speed stuff expect closer to 50 hours.
