Hey I am new to the community, I used to ride dirt bike when I was a kid, Now I have a new bike, well kinda. 1996 CR250
Its a basket case I have to completly rebuild it. I am interested in racing enduro at maplesville. When Are the races? Can anyone help. Also Anyone happen to have a left crankcase for that particular bike. Thanks.

Take a look at e-bay for crankcase halves...

Not sure about that bike in particular, but it's my understanding that most of the time cases are machined fit, so that you need to buy them as a set. Otherwise you stand a good chance of them not sealing properly.

I'd definitely be looking at the auction site, and elsewhere.. Bikebandit has those cases for $350 per side. OUCH!

You might be better off finding a used engine that's not complete garbage and using the cases from that.
