Newbie looking for bike

Whats up everyone, I'm 15, 150lbs and about 5'8 and I'm getting into dirt biking because all my friends have bikes. I currently ride a 2003 Polaris Predator 500 quad but I want a bike too. The 2 bikes I were looking at was a Yamaha YZ125 or a Suzuki RM125 since I have a Yamaha and Suzuki dealer close by, which one rips and is a better bike overall?

Check out the What Bike Do I Get... ? and the CR / KX / RM / YZ (2-Stroke) Discussion forums for a bunch of good threads relating to both bikes. Post up in the What Bike Do I Get... ? and you will likely get a bunch of opinions.

Also check out the Damn Yankee Dirt Riders forum for riders in your area.

Ill vote for the Yamaha. Both bikes will "rip". Its really a matter of which color you like better.
