Well, I bit the bullet. Fellow Dirtrider member jo8243 joined The Orange Side, so I bought his tricked out '01 KDX 200. Although it isn't as powerful as my '94 in my opinion, it certainly is better in the woods. The improved suspension, and what I percieve to be a better center of gravity, make this one much easier to flick between the trees. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Now if I can just sell my '94 I'll be in heaven. Click the links for pics.
I'm in Huntsville, Alabama. The price is $1650. You're welcome to come test ride it, I have a 10 acre field behind my house. You can see more pics of it at http://cmccarthy55.home.mchsi.com/kdx/index.htm .

That's one good looking KDX!! It looks just like mine. I'm down in Bham, maybe we'll hook up for a ride someday. My inlaws live in Huntsville. Congrats on the new bike!!! :)
Thanks Tim. You should hit the woods at CMRA up in Tennessee some time. Over 100 miles of trail up there. Next time you visit the inlaws bring your gear and you can ride one of mine if I still have them both. Also, if you know anybody down there looking for a bike like mine let me know.

I'll pass the word around. I've been wanting to get out to Carter Mountain sometime. I missed the VSTA ride there a few weeks ago. Including yours, I now have 3 invitations to go there. I see the Moody's at all of the races, and there's a couple of CMRA members down here in Bham. You should go to the races with us sometime. We're racing the SERA enduro in Louisiana next weekend.
