noob from socal

hello all, this looks like a great site with alot of good info. im fairly new to dirtbikes, and now have three cr250's to keep running for me and my family. looks like i'll get alot of my questions answered here. :worship:

thanks for the welcome.i live in orange county.cypress to be exact(for now)..finally got my own bike this summer, been going out a couple times a month with my brother in law who rides a quad. mainly just desert-palm springs,victorville area. been to beaumont a few times,glamis when i was a kid. wanna check out octillo wells(spelling?) someday too. any other good places around here? someone was telling me about johnson valley. not sure where that is tho.

It is about 2.5-3 hours depending on traafic - it is down near the Salton Sea. I am sure many of the Crew members would attest to the awesomeness that is OW.

Johnson Valley is more tword Joshua Tree National park... The road is called Old Women Springs Road, or SR247... Check out map quest you'll see it... The closest town is Lucerene Valley... That's the closest official OHV area to me, so I'm always down for a ride in JV...
