The numbers are the same size for both the front number plate and the side panels. If you are going to buy numbers your best bet is to line the numbers up on a numberplate background to see how well they fit and pick the ones you like best. Obviously the size is going depend on what number you pick ie: 111 will allow you to use larger numbers than say 999. Usually the bike shops will have the blank backgorunds cut for your plates and you can use that to line the numbers up against and compare for fit. Either that or just bring your front number plate in to the shop with you and line the numbers up on it to see how they fit. The side panels are bigger so obviously whatever fits on the front will work on the side panels as well. If you have the money and feel like spending it (around $60) I would recommend the pre-printed backgrounds from Factor Effex or Decal Works both are very nice looking and they maximize the size of the numbers to best fit the plate. In any event if you are looking for the more cost effective option of buying the individual numbers I recommend spending $20 bucks more and getting the blank background decals to put down over your plate first they dress it up and give it a nicer fit and finish. Just another couple options to think about.
