I need to buy some new sunglasses, and I'm pretty sure I want Oakleys. Is there anywhere that sells them for a good price? The mall around here only stocks one or two models and never has the ones I want. Their prices aren't great either. Is there any stores that have all or most models of Oakleys to choose from, and at decent prices? I am looking at Juliets in particular.

Anytime you find Oakley's at a discount, they're not real. Oakley's are alwyas the same price, everywhere you go. Sorry charlie.

Whoops, forgot about eBay. Ok, what I meant was that if you buy them in a store, you'll pay the same price everywhere you go.

I had a job in NYC a few years ago and took my little brother with me. He was amazed he could buy Oakleys for about 5-10 bucs a pop on the street.
I informed him they were fakes, just like the 20 dollar Rolex's the same guys sold. He bought several pair and gave them as Christmas gifts to his pals. He was quite a hit! :D

THis is one of your best sources for Real Oakleys: CLICK

It's sounding like Oakley has one style of glasses here... getting a pair for $75 is no big deal if they are $50 Oakleys :) They have models from $50 to $350.

If you're gonna buy them new, and pay full price, then you might as well get the direct from Oakley.com

That's what I did on mine, then again, when I oredered mine nobody carried them yet because they had only been out for two weeks. I can't wait until they come out with a vault type case for the Scars, I'm tired of putting them in a cardboard box I painted black

If you want to pay 300-400 bucs for sunglasses, I suggest looking at Revo. Their bottom of the line is more quality than the highest priced Oakley.

YZGuy15, I asked about pricing because the place near me sells them for more than the website. I was just asking if anyone knows a place that sells them cheaper than the website as most companies' websites are pricey compared to stores.

As for Revo glasses, I'd rather get Oakleys. Just my preference.

Oakleys own website is a pretty good place to buy from, plus they'll have all the styles. Oakley issued a statement on their website warning potential customers not to buy from the Sunglass Hut anymore due to them being bought out by Luxotica eyewear and were going to stock fewer Oakleys and try to persuade customers into some other sunglasses.

Wow, Okie. Do you own stock in Oakley? Seemed a bit strong. Let me know when you find an idependant lab testing facility for sunglasses.
Have you ever owned a pair of Revo's? I happen to have owned both brands and Oakleys are nice, but WAY overpriced. Revo's are overpriced too, but all one has to do is to put them on for a few minutes and you will find there is no comparison.
You can even drive at night with the Revo's.
Spring hinged. Quality workmanship. Plastic is hard to find on ANY pair of Revo's.

BTW....The bottom of the line KTM is FAR better than the highest priced Yamaha! :p Let's debate THAT one!

Nah, just a rib for the "better than Oakley" statement, based on some discussions about other products we've had in the past :p .

Better always be ready to put up some fact when you tell me something is better than something else :) Just a little "what goes around", ya know?

And the Kentucky Trail Machine thing? You get a KTM, we'll see which one is faster at DW02.

Atually, even though I'm not a fan of their products, my little buttercup got herself a pair of Nike shades. They seem very comfortable, but they are pretty proud of 'em.

I liked my Gargoyles as well (Earnhardt specials :) ) but alas, they have broken. :(

I'll give Oakley customer service a thumbs up. My "Mumbo" frames started to crack along the channel where the lens fits in. They were about five years old and had countless lens changes from mountainbiking. I remembered where I bought them but had no receipt, of course. They replaced the frames for $19. Pretty fair deal, IMO.
Another kick-arse pair of sunglasses-Rudy Project, from Italia:D . The only plastic on them is in the lenses.:)

Ah hA! Thought maybe you'd forgotten about our debate. LOL...indeed, it does come back around, huh?
And I agree...I too like to hear a lil beef if one wants to serve me stew!:)

We could have already taken care of the Ktoom/Yammy thing at DW01...I had my KTM there. :D But, I can wait. <---Revo's
