Rieju bought the original GasGas factory as well as all of its bikes and parts when KTM purchased GasGas in 2019. The Spanish manufacturer has racers all over the world, one being Jay Baxendale—a sprint and hard enduro racer from the United Kingdom. Baxendale recently crossed the pond to compete in the 2023 Sprint Enduro World Championship in Pennsylvania, where he won the Pro 2 division aboard a 2023 Rieju MR Pro 300.
