Ok after putting on my new sprockets and chain I took it for a nice wild spin down in a field just messing around and when I got back I noticed that the rear brake rotor has scrapes on it from the pads...well they (the pads) are new they have no rides on them other than fooling around in the backyard for 2 minutes at a time. Anywho what would make the pads do this to the rotor could it be dirt stuck between the pad and the rotor ? the srapes around the rotor are located (if looking from the side ) on the top of the rotor stopping surface and on the bottom. The middle has no scrapes. How do you know if its to far messed up ?
