Nice Nova SS, what is under the hood ... I had a 66 SS 327/350 with a 4 speed. Had to sell the car when gas ROSE to $0.38 per gallon. ;)

uhh, the nova. it's my boyfriends. '63SS
originally it had the straight six (dunno the cc's-20somethin), and a three speed.

he recently put a 350 in it, 4 spd now turbo 400, i think...

i like the '66-'67s a little better myself...

i know, i need to work on my pics. the dirtbikes are coming, i swear

my dad used to rock out with that same car.

his was a 350 Nova SS. He said he would have never of sold it if he wouldnt have met my mom :rotfl:

i have to correct myself, he put a 327 in. and it's a 4 sp manual. i guess the turbo 400 is in a truck.

he got the car from his dad, people always ask if it's for sale.

That number appears to mean 327 cid motor with a 4 speed TH350 trans.

Ah, never heard of a 4 speed Turbo-Hydramatic Transmission is all.... I maybe thought a 350 hp, 327 ci engine with a th350.... "double-hump" heads on the 327.

Doesn't quite sound right to me either, but I can think of no other explanation. I spent a few minutes trying to remember the TH options before making my post. Of course, trannies are not my forte, but I have always preferred shifting my own gears.
