I got my CRF450X, very very nice.
Now I'm looking for something to replace my KDX. Here's the scencario: I'm looking for a 'loaner' bike for friends to use when they are visiting me. The bike has to be able to sit for months on end without use and be ultra reliable. It should be normal size (no CRF230 or smaller sized bikes) and have low end power for torture style trails. "Performance" is really not important at all. I'd like to avoid mixing gas, so four strokes only.
The only bike currently in production that I've found which could fit the bill is the KLX300, but it's a real unknown and I have no clue what the reliability of this bike is. I'm also thinking of used XR400's or even XR250's, but would really prefer to avoid buying used (will if I have to).
