OLD Cr500R question

Just found a 1984 CR500R. Not sure if I should go after it or not. I know it wouldn't fit into most of your riding styles but I have a thing for them. If I remember correctly there were crank issues with the older 500's. There is also no counter ballancer, is that correct? Can you still get parts for something like this? Thank's

I do not think any of the cr 500's had counterbalancers. Plenty of parts are available for them .
