Old Guy getting back in

After being out of the sport for 17 years, I purchased a 96 RM 250 two years ago. I have always had street bikes, but some of my buddies at work ride off-road and talked me into getting back into it. At 36, I almost forgot how much I loved it.

Because I purchased a used bike, I have been trying to re-learn all the general maintenance and up keep. So expect a lot of questions from me on this forum. It has been rough after ruining my transmission at the end of last Fall. I hated to do it but I paid a shop to fix that mess.

Currently replacing worn swing arm bearings and shredded power reeds.

We ride mostly woods trails in Central and Southeastern Ohio.
