Bottomline is you get more than what you pay for and it's definitely worth the wait!
According to my experience there was some jetting changes needed, mostly in the area where the power was increased. I have a mid-top ported cr 133 and had to richen all across the board. The low speed had to be a tad richer but the main needed a few sizes up. I hear some people have to lean out after a big bore kit. It's hard to predict, but it's worth it :cool:Originally posted by Gary Drake
...is there a lot of jetting changes?...
Did the skirt shatter? Thats usually too much piston slap, or too old a piston. If the piston shattered I think its usually because it got to hot or the piston is too old.Originally posted by whyz
My son and I just crated the YZ motor last nite to be flown.
Wanted to see what was inside :| Piston particles everywhere.
Just to be safe,I'll be having the bottom end done also.
Could a motor seize because of reving down or up alot? :silly:
Thanks..
