I am from the Vail Valley and we stayed there for our honey moon. It is right at the base of the mountain and they have bell boys to take your ski's so you just ski up, take em off and head to your room. I remember the hot tub and pool being nice. The rooms are very nice and pretty roomy. Lucky for you we just got a bunch of snow so the slopes will at least be open. Hopefully by Jan. there will be even more snow.
