Heres a few vid's to bore you silly :whoa:
Just me out and about on my KDX (and XR650 if you go here http://uk.youtube.com/user/GreatBritainRob ).
Hafren Rally/Enduro. Unfortunatly my helmet camera packed up so the only pic's and video i have are of the start area on the sighting lap. Pity cause all the hill's and forests in the background are where most of the event was fought out. My old home area so always good to be back.

Do your tires ever leave terra firma?
Not if i can help it, no. Whats the point apart from posing?
I suppose they do in certain areas but say on the Hafren Enduro one for example its 3 laps, 45 miles per lap of hard slog (You watch the British round of WEC, its basically around the same course/area). As i mentioned, its the sighting lap and no one is in a hurry on that as its not timed and your energy well be needed later on.
So, apart from showing off to a crowd, can you tell me why my tyres should leave the ground?

No one said you should, I just asked if you ever DID.
You must admit, the riders in that vid were riding very slowly/deliberately....almost like they were afraid of falling off their bikes. :whoa:

It was evil out there mate. Everywhere was flooded, the section with the whoops was real hard packed with a layer of slime on it which made it feel like you were riding on an oil slick. Your tyres just didnt dig in. It was also the start of a 3 lap enduro, 45 miles approx to the lap which headed up into the hills and forests which is great but my stupid helmet camera packed up (bad contact on the batteries of all things :yell: ).
To give you an idea of where it was heres a vid of the British round of the World Enduro Championship. It was run by the same club that organised that and was around the same area (obviously better coverage for a world round).

It gets so slippy there that even the World Enduro riders had trouble. 50% or so dropped out on the first day. David Knight loved it though as it was a home race.
Damn, i wish i had more video, i hate my helmet camera now  You would have seen then why you take it steady at the start
