A quick burp of coolant every once in a while is ok. Enduro bikes have a coolant reservoir will draw it back in as the radiator cools and pulls into a vacuum. MX bikes just dump it on the ground so you have to keep an eye on the radiator level. If the bike boils over, you've got a problem. If you continually have to add coolant, you've got a problem.
