paddle tire

i am getting a rear wheel setup for Christmas and i am now looking at tires and i see that you can choose the number of paddles you want on the tire it varies between 6, 8, and 10. guess what im asking is what is the ideal setup? does more paddles give you more traction? would more paddles slow you down? thanks in advance.

yamarider88, depends on what type of ground you want to ride on. If your doing snow the less paddle your going to want to have but for the sand i would say in between the middle.
