I found your page about jet needles was good but I am still confused.

I have a 98 xc700 polaris snowmobile. Everyone says that I should change my needles but I can't quite crack the code. Could you help with changing these numbers and/or letters?
r1368g = ??? (What 3 letter code...)
r1370g = ???
r1371g = ???
CEL = ????? (what needle number? )
CGL = ?????


My info says that a CEL is about a 1370? If that is what I want but have a CGL can I raise the needle to get a similar effect?

Any help would be appreciated.

1368G#2 = CEJ#3 =CGJ#5
1370G#2 = CEL#3 =CGL#5

CGL#3 = 1370N#3
