I just bought my fist kdx,a 90 kdx200.The bike came with a dg pipe and the stock pipe, both dented fairly good.I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how the dg pipes performed?Am I better to fix the dg,cut the stock pipe or just get a fmf or procircut pipe?Which pipe performs best on these bikes?the bike has been rejetted,45 pilot,1173 nedle,155 main, was what i was told but will be taking the carb apart to check.Airbox lid off, boysen dual stage reeds and rad valve,dg pipe, stock muffler, gearing is 12,50.I am going to be riding only tight single track so any help as to how to set this type of bike up would be great. Thanks

Fmf

I also have a 1990 kdx 200. i changed the stock pipe for an fmf and i love it. if that helps. my bubby had a procuricut pipe and we both like the fmf on this bike the best.
Hope this helps..

I have the same bike with similar mods and have the FMF Fatty with a Turbine Core and I love it. I'm still with stock gearing but I'm going to drop to a 12 up front.

If you don't like dents in your pipe look here. Gotta tell you though, I saw an article on dyno tests where a dented pipe actually performed performed better,as long as the dent was not in the first 4 inches after the exhaust port.http://www.piperepair.com/
