piston/cylinder clearance

i own a 99" CR250. The clearance on the wiseco is recommended .002inch. I can slide a .003inch feeler gauge with the piston in the cylinder. Should i get it measured and fit a Pro X piston?? they go up in increments of .001inch. The nicasil is not worn out.

It isnt possible to measure the piston in that way-it wont take into account if the cylinder is out of round.I can only suggest you look into local shops who have the correct equipment and ask them to measure it.
