Do you seriously think you need that many tools at the track? It looks like overkill to me! Maybe you could build just a utility trailer with mounts up front for a roll-away chest, leaving room behind the chest to haul a couple of bikes.
Option #2 could be to just find a nice used enclosed trailer and build a little shop area in the nose.
Yeah I know, a small toolbox and a milk crate full of oils is more practical and a lot cheaper! But it's a long winter!
I was thinking of a scaled-down version to haul in my 16' enclosed trailer.
I have a fairly robust toolchest in my garage, and like the idea of being able to easily transport it and other necessities between the garage and track. As of now, I have a separate smaller toolbox with a separate set of tools for the trailer/track.
I don't think i want my tools that portable without someone sitting nearby. These carriers are necessary at auto races where the "hot" pit is some distance from your transporter - in many cases you can't get to the transporter while the track is "hot". Also, for venues where multiple events use the same pit in a day - they will "parade" their equipment in with the cars between the events.
