Try this on Mom
I have the same problem with my 2 boys. My 13 year old is just getting into 2 wheels after comming to his sences and selling his*****. I got him a Yami ttr125. The taller one with the disc in front. It's ablast to ride. I'm doing a exhaust to it and maybe boring the carb and lighting up the fly wheel. But in stock for it's kinda like you XR 80.
My younger son has out grown his XR 80 and can Just touch the ground on the TTR. He's undecided. The TTR with the Drum brakes, (A little smaller seat height) or the XR 100. All of them have @ the same seat height, the TTR weight 12 LBS heavier than the XR.
I gonna let them grow till they fit well on the 125 and can handle the ponies. I sure don't want then shell shocked jumping from the bikes they have now to a 125. Good luck and make sure you wear gear when riding!!
