How many more years does John Dowd have to keep it up, scoring in the top 20 at Southwick, before he can become part of the first father/son combo to line up at the gate of a professional motocross race? His boy has to be at least 10 now, right? Dowdy only has to pull off six more years (if the boy can qualify) and history will be made!

It was great watching Dowd hang with the fast young guys.Made me feel good.I'm older then he is.And a lot slower.
