Powertune?? Outboard motors?

I read the post about decarbonizing with water. I then noticed wal_Mart sells Powertune for two cycle outboard engines? Does this stuff work in motorcycles? What does it do?

I have a case of it at work...we use it in outboard motors. I think that it would be better to tear apart the motor in a motorcycle. An outboard motor is a little more work to rebuild, so I think that they try and use it to extend times between rebuilds.

I remember my father spraying it into our Merc 200. This engine let out a belch of black garbage that was unreal!

I wonder what it does? Dad did say the engine ran better afterwards. But, whay could a person say after doing this to the neighbors?
