Well, he woke up today, and is coherent and conversive. We are very thankful for this, and I am sure the prayers offered by all of you here helped. He's not out of the woods yet, though. The doctor wasn't very happy with the results of the EEG, so he wants to perform an MRI. Our nephew also seems to have some slight paralysis in his left arm and hand, although the doctor says this is not uncommon in cases of severe coma or brain trauma, and it could be only temporary. We are still hoping.

The other teens that were present that night still won't tell the truth, each one of them tells a different story, and none of the stories fit the facts. The police are starting to apply the pressure hard, and eventually, someone will tell the truth, we hope.

All of you that have teen children, never let your guard down. No matter how good your child's morals and values are, or how bright and well behaved they are, it only takes one stupid jerk that wants to get a laugh at another's expense to forever change your childs life, and your own.
