I just put new chain and sprockets on my 85. I bought the turner steel sprockets comboed with the pro taper gold chain. anyways today i went riding for about an hour and a half, and when I checked out the chain I noticed the gold on the chain was flaking off where the sprockets run through. My question is, is this normal? Or should I lube the chain a little? Should I have lubed the chain right when I put it on? Thanks, and it is not much gold that came off, just a little shavings.
