Problems moving.....need prayers

Well, The limbo I've been in for thirteen months now has taken another twist today. The sale of my home up in Greensboro is contingent upon the buyer selling a $7500 piece of land he thought he "owned". :silly: The lawyer closing on the land he thought he owned says he doesn't own the land. His Father and Uncle own the land....:silly: :silly: . The piece of land in question is supposed to be willed to our buyer when his Grandmother dies. The only problem is,.......shes not dead yet! That means that the Father and Uncle have to sign the deed over to our buyer.

I just can't believe this! If this guy doesn't buy my house I can't move..:( I do know God is in control and He is overseeing this whole process so I ask that you all pray for the transfer of deed of this land to our buyer. Please help me pray for a resolution to this situation.

I'm not mother Theresa in pants but I feel an obligation to anyone with the spirtual guts to share a situation like this and ask for God's intervention. So I'll give it a go. Let me know how things work out...

And you're right...God is in control.


PS. I always find it interesting that people who don't pray change their minds when they're the ones who've fallen in the "hole" and can't get out. Kinda funny when you think about it.:D

Mike, I can sympathize with your predicament, but right now, with everything going to ____in the world, its like Okie said there are other issues more urgent we all need to focus. :(

Come-on guy's your killing me !! while you are praying for the family who lost someone or for the people in NY or what ever the tragady you cant say a simple prayer for a fellow DRN'er who is in need ? What is it going to cost you.........maybe 10 seconds out of your internet activities. A house in limbo may seem like small potato's esp. compared to all that is happening now in this world, but to this guy, it is everything. He's asking for help.
I'll make it easy just repeat after me, Lord please help this house to be sold in a timely manner. Amen
My prayer's are with ya bud !

It's not my belief--

to pray for worldly goods---that is what faith is for. :)

Everything--yes even this thread happens for a purpose. :think

The delay may bring better things, sometimes we don't get what we want in life--we get what we are supposed to receive. :)

I want to win the Powerball, I really need a new CRF450 ---pray for me ;)

It is amazing that the United States was attacked on 9-11 and our number to call for emergency is "911."

Mike, it is also amazing that the Bible's "911" call for emergency starts in Psalm 91:1

I will keep your needs in my prayers, as well as everybody's needs arising from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Thanks KTMster. I just read that, the whole chapter, it was right on target (as it always is). I feel much better and I still hope everything goes well. I'll find out more today.

Thank you teton. Thank you for conveying what I was thinking better than I did. For everyone else, obviously I am aware that my family didn't get hurt by a terrorist on 9-11 but the situation I'm in seems like a lot to me. I haven't seen my family for more than two full days out of a week in over year now and it's getting old, that's all I was trying to convey. And when I asked that you all pray it wasn't out of want for material goods, it was for the situation to be worked out as God would see fit. If this transaction isn't supposed to work out, then it won't. I just would like the situation to be over for me, my wife, and my two little boys, that's all. The reason why I asked you guys to pray for/with me is in Matthew 18:20.

For all of you that dont have time are dont have any prayers left because A)you used them all are B) you prayed for a new 450f C) you just believe you're family was really apes. What a shame .. You just remeber this time when you are laying on the ground after your new 450f are your 250f are what everelse (squids ride) !! has spit you and powerdrived you into the ground. Dont start praying to the man above to give you relief.. Mike my prayers and thoughts are with you. Ask it will be done!!:p JAMSXR keep praying for those lotto # oops my bad you dont pray !!

Correct. Sometimes when we (all of us) get caught up in a situation, we can lose sight of that. Thank you for pointing it out to me. :)

Well I just got some news that our buyers Dad is going to give him the money he was counting on from the land. Now our buyer is calling his lender to see if gift money is acceptable for a downpayment. I hope that works out.

Thanks to all of you who are helping out in this situation. :)
