pw80 / bw80 weak spark, trouble shooting, manual anyone?

picked up a bw80 "same as pw80" has a weak spark, will run but revs poor and fouls the plug quick,

anyways, wondered if anyone had the specs so i could check the stator / cdi / coil resistances?

this is for the 2001 pw80 not for 87 bw80...
hope this helps

to check the spark, close the gap to 0.3-0.2 mm and see if runs better (if you already put a new one)...
if not, clean your carb and adjust the float heigth...
also check the reeds and the crankcase seals...

thanks for the reply! :) already cleaned the carb , top end has been rebuilt, i closed the gap the other day and it ran for about 5 mins then fouled the plug :( spark is super super weak. hard to see/faint

looks like my coils shot, i won one on ebay 2 days ago for $8 :o) woot hope it fixs it , thanks

coil just got here! dropped it in and she fired right up! now time to mod her up! :)

where could i find information on float settings for a bw 80.bike acts like its flooding out ...thanx mike
