PW80 for my daughter

I got a PW80 for my daughter. It was been sitting for 16 months and now only runs with the choke on the first detent. I cleaned the carb, what a mess and put in fresh gas, new plug, and new filter. Above idle it runs well, but won't idle or put without the choke on the first detent. Any ideas? My daughter loves this thing and I don't want to disappoint her.

Your pilot is plugged and you probably need a new needle/seat.


Just went through this with my an LT80 for my son.

yep, the pilot was plugged. Shoved a piece of wire through it, cleared it out and good to go. Thanks for the help :nod:
