pw80 pitster??

im lookin for somethin little to just tinker with as a pitbike, and my lil bro has a 02 pw80 and hes getting ready to move to a kx65 ,and i can get his old pw for around 400, should i take it?? everyhting is perfect, starts 1st kick even when its like 5degrees...so what should i do??

the pw80's are great for taking a beating. but they are heavy and pigs performance wise. good fun though. not a bad price. you could easily get $400 worth of fun out of it.

I sold my 83 pw80 for $300 And it needed a little work, I think thats a good deal, They take a beating!

i have one also and that thing is a beast ive tought about 5 friends to fide on it and that means it has been dropped flipped and flooped, and it still runs good im changing my rings tommorow.

yea i ride my lil bros all the time and its great if i get it im going 2 remove revlimiter somehow, and gear it for a little for botm end, and prolly raise it up, the rev limiter on those things suks, and so does the bottom end!

one last thing - i havent done much jumpin on the lil 80, but im 120#, so how welll do they jump for us bigger guys

Aren't they also oil injected? If so I'd disable that and just mix my own premix for it.

You can bunny hop them if you try hard enough. At nearly 200 lbs, I have personally cleared 12 feet on mine. The landings tend to be a little rough.

yeh it would take some masive power to bunny hop that little brick of a dirtbike...lol

Just re-read my post, I have not bunny hopped 12 feet, that required a pile of dirt. I do hop it all the time though.

i know u didnt hop 12ft...lol....but it would still take alot of strength to just hop it...i cant do it!!!
