I've made and installed a bore separator plate on the reed side of the slide on my 2003 RM 250 and the pilot and needle are way rich. So rich it will barely pull itself rich. Using the guide at
http://www.carbparts.com/ I have decoded the stock suzuki jet needle ( N8RH) to a Keihin part number ?DM.
D for a length of 36.6mm and M for a diameter of 2.71mm. The first letter in the Keihin part number designates the taper and I have no idea how to decode the needle taper from the goofball suzuki part number.
Anyone know where the taper designation is hidden in the stock marking ( N8RH) and how to decode it? Thanks for any help, Michael.
