question for a kx 85 mini motard race bike

I just bought a 2001 kx 85 to set up for some mini moto races, I got it home and started taking it apart and it looked as if the air filter has never been changed. Question is, what kind of filter should I purchase??? The bike is completly stock, it was a moms pit bike. K and N?? I know it would not give me any more power but I imagine its better than the stock? but dont know for sure. Also if anybody knows where I can find some 12 in wheels for it that would be great.

Use any good quality filter(twin air/uni/ready/etc) and clean and oil it regularly.

Excel should have rim/spoke kits for you.
