Question on RM250

Hey everyone. i have an 84 RM250 i just bought. i was wondering what i should put in the bottom end for oil? is it like...
1.) 80w(gear oil???)
2.) 10w(regular oil?)
or is it neither of those? help me out if you can asap. thanks.

80W gear oil or 10w-40w motor oil are about the same. they're measured on different scales. Sounds wierd, but either will work fine.

My 250 engine likes Bel-Ray Gear Saver oil (80W or 85W). Never had a clutch or shifting failure with any bike since I start using gear saver a year ago.
