Questions about 1998-2000 CR 250?

These bikes were bulletproof. Alot of people didn't like them because they were a bit rigid. I had a '99 and loved it. As far as powerband is concerned, if you want a bike with strong low end and midrange, the '99 is your bike. The only drawback is it signed off pretty early and liked to be short-shifted. The 2000 had the 2nd gen frame and was a bit more compliant. I think the '01 had the best motor of the bunch, with the same frame as the 2000.
