[QUOTE="Tony Yz426f, post: 1351303, member: 106961"] It very well could be the mechanical seal in your water pump. I have a 2000 yzf 426. It was leaking coolant when i bought it.well it all started with takeing the case cover off the nut had came off the counter balance shaft n that gear had gotten loose well i replaced the seals anyways but the impeller shaft had came out of the counterbalance shaft because of the nut that came off so i was not getting any water going through the water pump... so it was leaking now that is fixed and it runs like it should...
