Well, I tried my first race, and had an absolute blast. I want to try more races. I'm looking for Hare Scrambles, Cross-countries or Enduro races in Washington, Idaho or British Columbia. These races can't be extremely difficult, the Ogopogo Cross-Country was pretty tough, and it is considered fairly easy by some people. Thanks.

Speedy,
The Idaho City 100 is an ISDE Qualifier. It is fun and difficult riding. It is 1-2 June this year. You can see info about it on the Boise Ridge Riders web site. http://home.off-road.com/~kjhbrr/. There will be two AMA National Hare and Hound events and weekly Southwestern Idaho Desert Racing Association events in the southern Idaho area this summer. Check their web sites at http://www.amadirectlink.com/amrace/02nhh/02nhh.asp and http://www.sidraracing.com/ If you are looking for Desert Racing. SIDRA is great. SIDRA has classes for everyone. The races vary from 20 miles of sand and rocks for the little guys to 100 miles of Hell for the Pro riders. I ride the sportsman class. We usually ride 1 loop, about 35 miles.

Drop me an email to ge more detail. rogersjl57@msn.com

I'm not looking for desert riding, my bike isn't setup for it. I'm looking for fairly easy harescrambles/crosscountry/enduros.

have you checked www.northwestdirtrider.com ?
they have a pretty good list of all the stuff going on up here. i know the scramble in the fall at richland(horn rapids) is pretty easy, just more desert oriented.
there's also the scrambles at spokane, and some coming up soon at hannegan.
