Racing in Montecello

Just wondering if anyone knows of an upcoming race in Montecello Utah. A fellow worker said he heard something on the radio but didn't get any details

I just got a flyer for the Monticello race on July 5th.
Early Registration the 4th 6-9pm at Days Inn
Sat Reg 6:30-7:30am
Riders Meeting 7:45am
Practice 8:30-9:30am
Racing 10:00am

All the USRA MX races can be found at www.dirt-results.com there is a monticello race later in July. I am going to try to make the 5th if I can, but I'll be at the later one for sure.

Can anybody tell me about the track in Montecello. Is it real jumpy,Fast,hilly ??? A friend of mine is thinking about taking his KX 500 up and racing this weekend (his First in years) and will probably be in an "open" or 40 and over class.

I havent been able to find much out about the layout and such, but this article on the DirtWurks website. Really sounds like a fun track. Too bad it is about 4hours away from me.

Thanks Cy! my friend (Fast Freddy) is all pumped about going after reading the Dirt Wurx stuff. He went out and bought a set of Pro Tapers (Henry Bend) Renthal grips, painted his # plates black etc. Hopefully my son wont have to work on saturday so we can go, maybe campout friday night or something.
