rear axil

does anyone know an easyer way to get a rear axil out. my cr125 doesnt like to give it up and i want to know easyer ways or tricks. when i take it off i always have it up on a bike stand so the rear wheel is off the ground.

If the axle (axil??) isn't corroded into the hub/spacers, then slip a length of 2x4 under the rear tire, lever it up a bit to take the weight off the axle, and it should pull right out.
You may have to get your little sister to do it.... :laugh:

oops about the axil thing and thanks a bunch ill have to get my little brother to buckle down and do that too bad he hates cold and its -5F here lol

Before you put the axle back in, lube it up with anti seize compound. That will keep it from seizing to the spacers.

Whack the threaded end with a dead-blow hammer...

You ARE certain you've taken off the axle nut....right????

yes i have and the washer and the wheel adjuster on that side.

i got a buddie with a 02 kx250 that they had to cut the axle lol

How did they expose it to cut it???
Or did they cut through a spacer....??

:bang: with frustration and they got the swingarm to separate enough that they got a cuttertool in there. there brother owns a construction company so they had access to a bunch of tools that i have never seen and dont know how to use lol.
