hey i was bleedin my brakes today and i did everything fine but i might have spilt some brake fluid over my disc and and now it doesnt brake and im wonderin if its the oil or i did the bleeding wrong
Take the caliper off and the pads out. Spray them all including the rotor with Brake cleaner then re- install them. Then check to see if you have positive pressure in your brake pedal if not, you need to bleed it more. Cleaning the parts will help either way but if you have air in the line, no amount of cleaning will help you.
If the pedal /lever has a good solid feel to it and the brake shoes are closing on the caliper then is it probably the brake shoes are dirty with the brake fluid. If the pedal/lever moves too far too easy then it is the bleeding process.
