Has anyone tried the Metzeler MC4 rear tire as seen on the Freddette web page? I ride mostly woods (root, rock, dirt). The center knobs look short and spaced. What are you using in the woods? KDX220 wise.

I just got through using a Metzler mc 4 front and rear. Rear worked really well. I used it in nasty woods/rocks and did a few motocross races. Front and rear was as good as any tires I've tried just didn't last too long.....but none of them do really.

I don't recall seeing much if anything about the metz.

A bit of a search on this forum will get you LOTS of opinions on tires.

Things like, D756 is THE tire!

..stuff like that ;)

Registered posters have the search function back. It'll work for you.

Nothing was better than those original Metzeler Multi Cross's before Metzeler got bought by Pirelli. At least here in the rocky, muddy, rooty, north east.
