I don't know how your shock work, but I worked with an Ohlins. The low speed affected movements like the ones caused by throttle modulations.

Low and high speed refer to shaftspeed and not bike speed. Low speed example, rolling sand whoops. High speed example ,square edged bumps found exiting corners. Keep in mind the two circuits do overlap slightly.
